Title: Missouri Pacific Passenger Trains - The Postwar Years
Seller ID: TL185
The Missouri Pacific at its subsidiaries operated a varied fleet of passenger trains throughout the territory south and west of St. Louis, Missouri, the company headquarters. The famous 'Eagle' streamliners and other secondary trains at their peak extended from Chicago to Mexico City, and from the eastern seaboard to Texas by way of interline connections. Commuter trains were operated in the St. Louis area. Add in the mail trains, especially with their Intermodal operations, and one has a railroad passenger operation with a great deal of variety and potential. This book contains over 200 b&w and color photographs, 30 car diagrams and roster summaries. Retail $28.95.
